触発されました。

この人です。

60歳でフルマラソン完走するらしいです。

しかも3時間を切ると。

で、今はその仕込み期間中のようです。

とてもエンジニアらしいアプローチで、やればできるを体現しそうに見えます。

私はこの方を勝手に応援しています。

触発されて何をやろうかと考えた時、私は既に10回くらい挫折している英語学習をやろうと思いました。

もう41歳ですが、何とかなると思います。

ご存じの方も多いはず。

さて、しばらくはクソつまらない＆間違いだらけの英語日記になると思います。

でもブログなんて自己満なので気にせず行きます。

2020年5月13日の日記

Diary of May 13, 2020.

私は7:30に出発する電車に乗り、新宿へやってきました。

I came to Shinjuku on a train that left at 7:30 a.m.

新宿には私が勤務する会社があります。

There is a compane in Shinjuku where I work.

そして私は本日、17:30で勤務を終えました。

And I finished my shift today at 5:30p.m.

私は自宅への帰り道、スーパーマーケットに立ち寄りブロッコリーを買いました。

On the way home, I stopped at the supermarket and bought some broccoli.

私は家に着き、晩ごはんを食べました。

I arrived home and ate my dinner.

その後、私はお風呂に入り、スキンケアを行い、ブロッコリーを調理しました。

Afterwards, I took a bath, did my skin care, and cooked some broccoli.

ブロッコリーはまず、房の部分を切り落とします。

For broccoli, first cut off the bunches.

次に茎の中で皮の柔らかい部分を輪切りにします。

Next, cut the soft part of the skin into rounds in the stem.

皮の堅い部分は、皮を切り落としてから輪切りにします。

Trim off the hard skin and cut it into rings.

切ったブロッコリーは塩を適量入れた熱湯に入れます。

Put the cut broccoli in boiling water with an appropriate（適切な） amount of solt 

2分程度茹でたら、熱湯から上げて水で冷やします。

and boil for about 2 minutes, then raise it from the boiling water and cool it with water.

最後にブロッコリーをブンブン振って水を切り、冷蔵庫にしまいます。

Finally, buzz（ブンブンいわす的な意味） the broccoli, drain（≒dry） it and put it away in the fridge.

これで私の1日は終わりました。

This concludes（締めくくる） my day.

Dialy of May 15, 2020.

2020年5月15日（金）の朝5:55に私は目を覚ましました。

I wake up at 5:55 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2020.

今朝のニュース番組でもCOVID-19の話題でもちきりでした。

The topic of COVID-19 was all over the news program this morning.

でも、私が気になったのはCOVID-19ではありません。

But it wasn't the COVID-19 that bothered（気になる） me.

為替情報です。

Exchang information.

毎朝の為替情報の中から「円－元」がなくなっていました。

The "yen-yuan" was missing from the morning's exchange information.

私は何かがあったのだろうと思い、為替を調べてみましたが、1元15円前後で以前と変わりありませんでした。

I wondered if there was something wrong, so I looked up the exchange rate and it was around 15 yen per yuan, unchanged from before.

結局、なぜなくなったのか私にはわかりませんでした。

In the end, I couldn't figure out why it was gone.

円－元の為替情報はありました。

「株と為替の動きです」は時間帯によって情報量が違いました。
